Detailed vulnerability description
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to insecure .dll library loading within Color Control Panel functionality. A remote attacker can place an .icm or .icc file on a remote location alone with malicious .dll file, trick the victim into opening the file and execute arbitrary code on the target system with privileges on of the current user.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow an attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
