Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code.

An issue was discovered on Samsung mobile devices with M(6.x) and N(7.x) (Qualcomm chipsets) software. There is a panel_lpm sysfs stack-based buffer overflow. The Samsung ID is SVE-2017-9414 (December 2017).
