Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code.

An issue was discovered on Samsung mobile devices with M(6.0) and N(7.x) software. There is a buffer overflow in process_cipher_tdea. The Samsung ID is SVE-2017-8973 (July 2017).
