Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a local authenticated user to execute arbitrary code.

In V4L2SliceVideoDecodeAccelerator::Dequeue of v4l2_slice_video_decode_accelerator.cc, there is a possible out of bounds read of a function pointer due to an incorrect bounds check. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. Product: Android. Versions: Android-8.1 Android-9.
