Detailed vulnerability description
The vulnerability allows a local authenticated user to execute arbitrary code.
In all android releases (Android for MSM, Firefox OS for MSM, QRD Android) from CAF using the linux kernel, while processing a message from firmware in WLAN handler, a buffer overwrite can occur.
