The vulnerability allows an adjacent attacker to cause DoS condition on the target system.
The weakness exists in arch/x86/kvm/x86.c due to race condition. An adjacent attacker can submit a specially crafted instruction, trigger an L2 emulation failure report and cause the service to crash.
