Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The sys_thrsigdivert function in kern/kern_sig.c in the OpenBSD kernel 5.9 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (panic) via a negative "ts.tv_sec" value.
