Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error in Integer signedness error in the sockargs function in sys/kern/uipc_syscalls.c in FreeBSD 10.1 before p34, 10.2 before p17, and 10.3 before p3. A remote attacker can use a negative buflen argument to trigger heap-based buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
