Detailed vulnerability description
The vulnerability allows attackers to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. A remote attacker can execute arbitrary code in a privileged context or cause a denial of service (NULL pointer dereference) via an application that provides crafted API arguments.
