The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The MACE feature in Cisco IOS 15.1 and 15.2 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (device reload) via crafted transit traffic, aka Bug IDs CSCtq64987 and CSCtu57226.
