Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows remote attackers to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. A remote attacker can execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (memory consumption and application crash) via a long URL. Per http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5130 : This issue does not affect systems prior to OS X Lion.
