Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to divide-by-zero error within AirPort in Apple Mac OS X 10.6 before 10.6.7. A remote attacker can perform a denial of service (divide-by-zero error and reboot) via Wi-Fi frames on the local wireless network, a different vulnerability than CVE-2011-0162.
