Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a local user to gain access to potentially sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to a a use-after-free error within the Windows State Repository Service. A local user can use a specially crafted application to trigger use-after-free error and read contents of memory on the system.
