Detailed vulnerability description
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to heap-based buffer over-read of size 8 in the function jp2_decode in libjasper/jp2/jp2_dec.c. A remote attacker can perform a denial of service attack.
