The vulnerability allows a remote unauthenticated user to cause denial of service on the target system.
The weakness is caused by intensive network traffic. By sending specially crafted HTTP requests attackers trigger many simultaneous downloads of the same HTTP data that leads to loss of network link.
Successfull exploitation of the vulnerability allows a malicious user to cause denial of service on the vulnerable system.
