Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a remote user to execute arbitrary shell commands on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation. A remote user authorized for the Package Updates module can execute arbitrary commands with root privileges via vectors involving %0A and %0C.
