The vulnerability allows a remote user to trigger PHP code execution.
The weakness is caused by disregard of Windows way to a canonicalized path while page rendering and allows attackers to insert specially crafted files containing PHP code.
Successful exploitation of the vulnerability allows a malicious user to execute PHP code.
