Vulnerability details
The vulnerability allows a local user to gain access to sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to PAN-OS XML API requests are logged in cleartext to the web server logs when the API is used incorrectly. A local user can read the log files and gain access to sensitive data, such as administrator secrets.
