Description

The vulnerability allows a remote user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error in the web services interface of Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Software and Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) Software. A remote authenticated user can send a specially crafted HTTP request to the system, trigger buffer overflow and crash the service.
