Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass authentication process.

The vulnerability exists due to the affected devices fail to authenticate against configured passwords when provisioned using TIA Portal v13. A remote attacker can bypass authentication and download arbitrary programs to the PLC.
