The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to improper handling of exceptional conditions in the Palo Alto Networks PAN-OS dataplane. A remote attacker can send specifically crafted traffic through the firewall and perform a denial of service attack.
