Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to socket creation failures are mishandled during the IP Service Level Agreements (IP SLA) and Two-Way Active Measurement Protocol (TWAMP) processes. A remote attacker can send specially crafted IP SLA or TWAMP packets and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
