Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to otherwise restricted functionality.

The vulnerability exists due to improper access restrictions in the Zone-Based Policy Firewall feature. A remote attacker can send UDP or ICMP flows to inject traffic through the Zone-Based Policy Firewall, leading to traffic being dropped because it is incorrectly classified or incorrect reporting figures being produced by high-speed logging (HSL).
