Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error in Adobe Digital Editions when processing malformed files. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted file, trick the victim into opening it and trigger memory leak.

Successful exploitation of the vulnerability may allow an attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
