The vulnerability allows a local attacker to cause DoS condition.
The weakness exists due to improper handling of specific drop operations by the cgroup offline implementation. A local attacker can use a specially crafted application and cause the system to hang.
Successful exploitation of the vulnerability results in denial of service.
