Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a local user to gain access to potentially sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to a time-of-check-time-of-use (TOCTOU) race condition. A local user can use a specially crafted request and gain unauthorized access to sensitive information on the system.
