Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to crash the application.

The vulnerability exists due to an incorrect setting of the pixel array size in coders/tiff.c. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted data to the application, trigger heap-based buffer overflow and perform a denial of service attack.
