Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to improper handling of character style index within STL container in RTF files. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted RTF file, cause a use-after-free error and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system with privileges of the current user.
