Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error in the httpd unescape functionality. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted HTTP request, trigger memory corruption and cause a denial of service on the target system.
