Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a NULL pointer dereference error in the Packet Forwarding Engine on SRX Series routers, if Unified Threat Management (UTM) Enhanced Content Filtering (CF) is enabled. A remote attacker can send specific transit traffic to the device and force the PFE to crash and restart, resulting in a denial of service condition.
