Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition when handling GPOS and GSUB table in hb-ot-layout-gpos-table.hh, hb-ot-layout-gsub-table.hh, and hb-ot-layout-gsubgpos-private.hh files. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted data to the application, trigger an out-of-bounds read error and perform a denial of service attack.
