Description
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input in the Windows Hyper-V when handling DHCP packets. A remote attacker on the local network can send a DHCP request containing the DHCP message type DHCP_MESSAGE_DECLINE with an invalid DHCP_OPTION_REQUESTEDIPADDR embedded in the same DHCP request.
