Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a logic error when certain conditions are met during the access point (AP) joining process of the Control and Provisioning of Wireless Access Points (CAPWAP) protocol. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted input to the application and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
