The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass authentication.
The vulnerability exists due to an error in jabberd2, when sasl.anonymous c2s.xml option is not enabled. A remote unauthenticated attacker can bypass authentication process using SASL ANONYMOUS authentication.
