Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to application does not properly impose security restrictions. A local user can influence the ServerOptions pid_file parameter with which the bRPC server is started and execute arbitrary code with the permissions of the bRPC process.
