Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error in the packet forwarding engine (PFE) of Juniper Networks Junos OS Evolved on PTX10001-36MR, and PTX10004, PTX10008, PTX10016 with LC1201/1202. A remote attacker on the local network can send specially crafted traffic to the affected device, trigger a use-after-free error in the aftman-bt process and perform a denial of ervice (DoS) attack.
