Vulnerability details
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to improper handling of errors in the Layer-2 control protocols daemon (l2cpd). A remote attacker can send a malformed LLDP packet to the l2cpd daemon and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
