Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to buffer overflow error in SIP ALG. A remote non-authenticated attacker can cause a Denial of Service (DoS).

 On all MX Series and SRX Series platform with SIP ALG enabled, when a malformed SIP packet is received, the flow processing daemon (flowd) will crash and restart.
