Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to improper management of internal resources within the application when handling overly long passwords within the CodingUtil.md5() and checkUserPassword() methods. A remote attacker can pass an overly long password to the application and consume excessive CPU resources, resulting in a denial of service condition.
