Detailed vulnerability description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to modify information.

The weakness exists due to permissions error  in MobileBackup Backup. A remote attacker can trick the victim into opening a specially crafted content and cause a backup to be unencrypted when set to perform only encrypted backups.

How to mitigate CVE-2017-7133

Update to version 11.
