Detailed vulnerability description
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass security restrictions on the target system.
The weakness exists in the web interface of Cisco Network Analysis Module Software due to improper input validation of HTTP requests that it receives and the software does not apply role-based access controls (RBACs) to requested HTTP URLs. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted HTTP request to bypass role-based access controls (RBACs) and delete arbitrary files on the target system.
