Description

The vulnerability allows a remote user to bypass authorization.

The vulnerability exists due to an error in the implementation of SAML 2.0 single sign-on (SSO) for remote access VPN services. A remote authenticated user can establish a VPN connection using their designated connection profile (tunnel group), then intercept the SAML SSO token that is sent back from the Cisco ASA device, and use this token to a different tunnel group for authentication.
