Description

The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error within the DEFINE_PER_CPU(), topology_set_scale_freq_source() and topology_clear_scale_freq_source() functions in drivers/base/arch_topology.c. A local user can escalate privileges on the system.
