Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to reachable assertion within the ubifs_xattr_set(), ubifs_xattr_get(), ubifs_listxattr(), ubifs_purge_xattrs() and ubifs_xattr_remove() functions in fs/ubifs/xattr.c, within the ubifs_alloc_inode() function in fs/ubifs/super.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
