Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to improper error handling within the mcp251x_stop(), mcp251x_open(), mcp251x_can_probe() and mcp251x_can_remove() functions in drivers/net/can/spi/mcp251x.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
