Detailed vulnerability description
The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error within the snd_seq_oss_open() function in sound/core/seq/oss/seq_oss_init.c. A local user can trigger a double free error and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
