Detailed vulnerability description
The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to infinite loop within the __iov_iter_advance_iov(), cond_resched() and iov_iter_single_seg_count() functions in mm/filemap.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
