Vulnerability details

The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to improper locking within the lynx_28g_set_mode() and lynx_28g_probe() functions in drivers/phy/freescale/phy-fsl-lynx-28g.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
