Detailed vulnerability description
The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to a race condition within the ocfs2_test_bg_bit_allocatable() function in fs/ocfs2/suballoc.c. A local user can escalate privileges on the system.
