Detailed vulnerability description
The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to memory corruption error within the at() function in arch/ia64/kernel/vmlinux.lds.s, within the end() function in arch/ia64/kernel/ivt.s. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
